It is hard to believe it is already November. The first couple of months have gone extremely well. I continue to be impressed by the faculty, students, parents, and community members of this district every day.
I want to remind everyone of the importance of communicating with our office about any change in evening transportation for your student. The safety of our students is always our primary concern. I realize that our main office line is often busy, so I am including all three phone numbers of the school if you need to make contact. These numbers can always be found on the home page of our website. Line 1: 573-729-3902, Line 2: 573-729-9412, and Line 3: 573-729-2452. Please do not hesitate to call the office with arrangements for transportation as needed.
November means the holiday season is upon us and that cold weather is just around the corner. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately as we will be outside in some pretty cold weather. In the event that school is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be communicated via our school Facebook page, an all call, a push notification on the app, KY3, and KSMO.
Please label your child’s coats, lunch boxes, and other personal items. This will help us locate the owners of items left around the school building.
Our junior high grade basketball season is underway. The athletes have been working hard in practice, and I am proud of the way they have been representing the school. Remember that you too are representatives of the school when you attend a game to cheer for the Mustangs. Please be positive fans in the stands at all times.

Support the school. The way children hear their parents talk about school is generally reflected in their attitude towards school. A child’s attitude towards teachers and learning will affect their education.
