Green Forest R-II School

The Board of Education met March 15th for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting. The main item on the agenda was the approval of the 22/23 school year calendar. To view the calendar that was approved for next year click here.  The calendar can also be found in the district information tab on the website.  This month is also board appreciation month. We are very blessed to have a great board of education here at Green Forest.  Our wonderful kitchen staff prepared dinner for the board last night to show our appreciation of their support and dedication to our district. The culture of a district starts at the top with the board and the way that they operate. We truly have one of the best boards around and they are a big part of the success we experience in our school. The March meeting was also the last meeting for Mr. Austin Konkel. Mr. Konkel has served on the board since 2010. He has been an outstanding board member and a great asset to our district. We presented him with a plaque of appreciation and would like to once again thank him for his many years of service to the district. It is a great day to be a Mustang.
