Last Friday, our K–2 students celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day! Each grade had its own special way of celebrating, and we had so much fun! Take a peek at what our little Mustangs were up to!
🍎 Kindergarten: Our kindergarteners celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day by showing off their adorable apple artwork and enjoying some homemade applesauce and apple samples!
🍏 1st Grade: First graders put their taste buds to work! They sampled apple cider, homemade applesauce, and apples with peanut butter and caramel while brainstorming descriptive words for apples.
🍎 2nd Grade: Second graders celebrated with a delicious apple nacho bar! Students had fun creating their own apple treats with a variety of yummy toppings.

Please email photos to bwilson@gfr2.k12.mo.us by October 31.
Please include the Veteran's name, branch of service, years served, etc.
Physical copies will not be used.
(If you emailed your photos last year, you don't have to email them again.)
