Fifth through eighth grade enjoyed their Reading Counts Reward at the city park!





Kindergarten through fourth grade had a great time at our Reading Counts reward trip today!





Great evening of basketball in Bourbon, Missouri. Our boys played a tough overtime game, winning 22-21. The Lady Mustangs lost 15-23. We’re excited for the challenges the upcoming week presents.


Green Forest will host our proportionate share meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 18th at 4:00 in the cafeteria. This meeting is to identify parentally placed private school students in our district who qualify to receive special education services through Part B IDEA.

Students and staff recognized our custodians today with this poster. Each spot on the poster is a message of thanks from a student or staff member. We appreciate their hard work to keep our facilities clean and operational. They are two of the best around.

We are pleased to announce that our beloved Ms. Marsha Gabel was selected as this years Outstanding Rural Support Staff Member of the year by the Missouri Association of Rural Education. She will be honored at their annual luncheon on October 20th. Congratulations Ms. Marsha.

Congratulations to our 4/5 grade girls basketball team on a second place finish in their tournament last night. They had wins over Oak Hill and the Dent Phelps B team and then lost in the championship to Dent Phelps A team. Great job Mustangs.
